Instructor: Fred Sokolow
Sun., April 1, 12:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., $35 ($60 for both of this instructor’s workshops).
In this hands-on workshop, Fred shows you moveable patterns that help you play all over the fretboard, in any key, whether you're strumming backup chords or playing single-note solos or chord-melody solos. Learn to think like a musician, understand chords and chord progressions, and be able to play by ear, making chord changes automatically and ad-libbing solos. You'll learn about scales, chord-based licks and several soloing strategies. You're guaranteed a few "light bulb" moments, and you'll come away with a lot to work on. Fred Sokolow is best known as the author of over one-hundred instructional books and DVDs. All levels. (Also see Fred’s Guitar Fretboard Roadmaps workshop.)
