Teacher Biography: Mark Graham started playing the harmonica in high school and is now a noted performer, recording artist, and instructor. He has performed or recorded with bluegrass stars Tim O’Brien and Laurie Lewis, Irish fiddler Kevin Burke, and jazz guitar great Bill Frisell, and is one of The Kings of Mongrel Folk with Orville Johnson. As a teacher, Mark locates his students’ personal interests and abilities, uses classic recordings and tunes, and works to help them develop solid technique and wide-ranging knowledge. His goal is to have the student know the fun, excitement, and sense of accomplishment of being a good musician and harp player.
