Teacher Biography: Cathy is an internationally renowned autoharp teacher and performer. She won first place at the International Autoharp Championship in 2005 and has made the final round in other years. She has also been a finalist in the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Championship. Cathy has taught music to children and adults for 35 years, and is the author of the popular autoharp guide, It's An Autoharp, available at Dusty Strings. Cathy responds to the goals and learning styles of her students, incorporating music theory, printed music, and singing as much as they wish.
