KidsJammin' is a hands-on program where kids 8 to 12 years old get to experience music making in a fun, stimulating, and encouraging environment. The KidsJammin' program will focus on music fundamentals – rhythm, melody, harmony – and then apply these concepts to explore expression, creativity, improvisation, and composing/songwriting. Give your child a fun and positive introduction to music making. Instruments will be provided, but children are welcome to bring their own.

Writing together with their peers, kids will learn how to find the words they are looking for and put them together to say what they mean in a song. They'll explore how other musicians create music for their songs, and discover ways to do it themselves. Finally, all students will record and perform their songs together!
