Beginning Pennywhistle

Four Thursdays, May 6, 13, 20, 27, 7:45-8:45 p.m., $80.

Start with basic pennywhistle tone, breath control, and scales, then quickly move on to the vocabulary of pips, crans, rolls, slides and other amazing ornaments that bring sophistication and flair to this elegant instrument. We'll learn our tunes and ornaments by ear in the Celtic tradition. Please bring a "D" pennywhistle to the class.
