Instrument Rental Program

Guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, harps, hammered dulcimers, and mountain dulcimers are available to rent at Dusty Strings. Renting is an easy, affordable way to get started before investing in your own instrument. Some of your rent can apply toward the purchase of a new instrument (see Rental Details below).

Rental Details

There is an initial minimum rental period of two months, paid at time of rental. Up to four months of rent can be applied toward the purchase of a new instrument  of equal or greater value (harp and dulcimer rental credit may only be used towards Dusty Strings instruments). All renters must have a valid Mastercard or Visa credit account and provide that card for security on the instrument. Please note that we do not accept check (debit) cards for security. At times there can be a waiting list for rental instruments. Please call for current availability.
