7th Annual Dusty Strings UkeFest, June 28 & 29, 2008

Dusty Strings welcomes all ukesters for the 7th Annual Ukefest, now a weekend-long ukulele extravaganza packed full of workshops for players of all levels and backgrounds. Learn from a line-up of great ukulele performer-teachers including James Hill, Jim Beloff, John King, Casey MacGill, Greg & Jere Canote, and special guest Herb Ohta Sr. Also, don’t miss the Saturday night concert: from Bach arrangements and Hawaiian history (John King), to the creator of Fleas and Flukes – the new wave of ukes (Jim Beloff), and “the Wayne Gretzky of ukulele” (James Hill), this will be an event filled with variety and talent. Even the audience will take part, with an opportunity to pull out their ukuleles and play and sing along.
