We love to talk about the instruments, recordings, books, videos, etc. we carry, so if you have any questions please feel free to give us a call or send us your phone number so we can call you.

Our acoustic music shop is located in Seattle’s Fremont district, a lively and unique community that offers many delightful shops and eateries as well as famous sculptural landmarks such as the Troll under the Aurora Bridge, Waiting for the Interurban, and a bronze statue of Lenin purchased from the former Soviet Union.

Directions to our Acoustic Music Shop

Driving: To reach us from I-5, take the NE 45th Street exit and drive west. Turn left on Stone Way N and drive to N 34th Street, where you turn right. Dusty Strings is on the corner of N 34th Street and Fremont Avenue N (see map below). There is on-street parking throughout the area.

By bus: Take the 26 or 28 bus from downtown, or the 30 (weekdays only) from the University District. For detailed information, contact Metro (206-553-3000).
